Vali Myers
Vali Myers was an absolute goddess.
Reasons why I like her:
Was a dancer Australia’s Modern Ballet Company after working full time since the age of 14 to afford dance classes.
She'd catch the bus to rehearsals in her dance get up in a time when it was unacceptable to have hem line higher than a lady's knee.
She hiked it to Paris in the1950's, wondered the streets, danced in cabarets became a vagabond with the Parisian beets.
Lived in a gypsy caravan in a valley in Italy with an Italian lover and a heap of animals.
Had a pet fox called foxy.
Tattooed a lightning bolt on Patti Smith's knee while she was staying in the Chelsea Hotel selling her paintings.
Lived with the Wodabe tribe in Niger.
She tattooed her own face!
Retained her unapologetic Australian accent and turn of phrase
Had awesome fire red hair.

Rabbit Hole Spring Garden Party
Here is the latest poster that I have knocked up for Rabbit Hole. Unfortunately we have just found out that it will be the last one held at Tone as it is being sold to be turned into a restaurant. Its is such a pity for the Sydney live music scene as it is one of the only places that has a license for late night live music. Love and Squalor will miss you Tone and we send out our condolences to Ben and every one who is involved with the venue. Rabbit Hole will live on however and is currently sorting out a new location to continue its monthly awesomeness!

Bon Iver and James Blake are having a music baby!
I am so so very excited by the news that my two favourite music crushes are having a music baby together! Bon Iver and James Blake are due to start on a collaborative album on the 24th! I saw Bon Iver at the Spigeltent when he came out for Sydney Festival ages ago and it was my favourite gig to date. I was lucky enough to see Jamesy boy at one of his side shows for Splendor a few weeks ago, he was fantastic and the bass was so intense I could feel my eye balls shaking in my head. I cant wait to hear what they produce together, but in the mean time Ive been watching and re-watching this Bon Iver's video for Holocane....

Manning Cartell
Super Duper excited to see another of the prints I did while at Karolina York being used, this one was walking down the catwalk for Manning Cartell's new collection. Yay!
